One, two, three, take a shot.

Alcohol shots are great for any party or celebration. They are often the type of drink that will ensure an event lasts well into the evening.

A shot can provide a powerful punch. They are best enjoyed by someone who appreciates their liquor. They are different than the average alcoholic drink, and best enjoyed in one swift, quick swallow.

The best alcohol shots include Absinthe, Whiskey, Rum, Vodka, Tequila and Gin. They can be enjoyed alone or mixed with ingredients. Either way, the liquor should be a main attraction. Because of this, these drinks are known to be very potent. Too many alcohol shots can send even the most experienced drinker over the edge.

Whiskey is a popular alcohol shot option. It comes in a variety of brands, each with its own alcohol strength. This grain liquor is aged in oak casks to achieve its rich distinctive taste.

Originating from Switzerland, Absinthe has the unusual taste of anise. It is a highly-alcoholic drink and is preferred amongst those who like a sweet flavor to their shot.

Vodka is one of the most utilized liquors and is popular around the world. It can be found in a variety of drink recipes, including alcohol shots. It is flexible enough to be used in many mixtures, and yet, is also often consumed alone. Unlike whiskey, which usually has a golden or amber color, vodka is a clear, grain liquor. The alcohol-strength in Vodka can range from 35 to 70 percent.

Many alcohol shots are reserved for the brave person looking to have a good time. They are best consumed in moderation. Alcohol shots are always the life of the party.
